Rolande LNG (RLNG) has the objective of selling natural gas and biogas in liquid form to transporters and distributors. These parties transport goods on Dutch and European roads every day. Currently, goods vehicles that run on diesel are used extensively. For transporters, switching to liquified natural gas and biogas offers the advantage of lower fuel prices and a mode of transportation that can be seen as very clean.

To make this possible, a supply chain needs to be put in place that provides transporters with LNG/LBG, refuelling facilities and transport equipment.

For transporters and distributors, the alternative fuel means a reduction in emissions, greater urban reach and a truck that meets all noise standards.

Rolande LNG purchases the LNG/LBG, takes care of logistics to the filling stations, and will run the filling stations. Rolande LNG also has an important advisory role and works closely with truck manufacturers to properly coordinate the supply chain.

Vision

In 10 years, the supply chain of Rolande LNG will have expanded so that at least 100 filling stations are being operated for fleet owners around Europe and at least 10,000 trucks will be running on liquified natural gas and biogas.

Mission

We strive to provide our customers with safe products with which we aim to create a win-win situation. We want to offer a consistent and reliable product on a large number of routes at attractive rates for the commercial market. The transporter must be able to save expenses by switching to an alternative fuel. To achieve this, we work with an expert team and we strive for long-term relationships with our suppliers, customers and partners on projects.
