Iveco Schouten invests in Rolande LNG

23-09-2010 IVECO Schouten, one of the largest Dutch professional dealers of IVECO and Fiat with 6 branches throughout the middle of the Netherlands, will work closely together with Rolande LNG B.V. This company specializes in industrial and road transport applications of liquified natural gas (LNG) and liquified biogas (LBG).

The reason for this collaboration is the opportunity that both companies see to supply trucks that run on these fuels to the Dutch market. In addition to its diesel variants, IVECO has the widest selection of commercial vehicles in Europe that run on CNG (compressed natural gas) and LNG (Liquified Natural Gas). The target of the two companies is to sell at least 80 trucks that run on LNG/LBG on the Dutch market before the end of the first half of 2011.
